Véronique L’Hoste's photographs and François Borel-Hänni's novel forge links between their two universes. The images and words of the two works intertwine.
In her series "Cycle", she develops a refined chromatic universe - blue, gray, green - where every detail seems in its place, as calculated. She uses performance, stages herself and creates immaculate semi-human forms draped in ice or marble. In the fullness of closed or enclosed landscapes, she plunges us into a mystical world linked to perpetual rebirth.
Véronique L'Hoste has been pursuing her path in contemporary photography for ten years. In her thirties, this young plastic photographer creates images where slips a gap, a fault that tilts their senses and our senses. Originally from France, she has chosen to work in Grand Est region. She is a graduate of the Lorraine art school and an art teacher.
