Behind Blue Eyes

In between the spirit and looks of a zine and a photobook, Behind Blue Eyes is the first publication of the artist Helena Goñi, where she puts together photographs taken during the years 2011 and 2016 in a collage form. Reflecting on the youth culture of Bilbao, a historically rebellious city in the Basque Country, nowadays known for the Guggenheim Museum. This book was published as a result of becoming the winner of the Género y Figura open call in 2015 whilst the project was still ongoing. As a consequence, the format of the publication is quite open and the narrative of the pages can be altered by the viewer.
