The World of the Victors uses photography as a support for an archaeological activity of Francoism based on the aesthetic revelation of the residences of those most responsible for the repression, which takes the border as a compulsory motif. The photographs, symbolically elemental as monuments of self-representation, give an account of the real estate and bear witness to the historical, cultural and aesthetic imaginary of the Francoist elites, their privileges and the impunity they enjoyed.
