The stroll talks about silence and tells that History cannot be told. That History is composed of small stories, that reaffirm and contradict each other, that come and go through time, changing. Being adapted to the place and time in which they are told, or being silent there where they cannot be narrated.

In Spain, the message sent by the establishment since the end of the dictatorship has been “we must turn the page to avoid opening old wounds”. However, in order to turn the page, it must first have been read, but there is a page of it's history that the Spanish society has not been allowed to read. In my attempt to know this chapter of Spain's recent history and in the endless walls I came upon, this project is originated. I am aware that I'm no historian nor anthropologist and that writing history is not my task. However, after many years of investigating and taking pictures, and being a photographer, I want to generate images that may create in the viewer emotions similar to the ones experienced by myself on this journey, images that may cause him to want to know about the stories that I've hidden (that they hide from us) and lastly to have a reflexion about the “whys” and “whatfors” of this denial.
