When someone has several anxiety episodes, he ends up being afraid that these episodes will happen again, that is when the fear of fear begins. Fear of an imaginary enemy, created and fed by our own mind, fear of experiencing anxiety again. We fear and avoid situations where we might feel observed and/or judged.

Emotion is more powerful than reason and knowing that there is nothing to be afraid of does not suppress the fear, that is the reason why one can end up shutting oneself up in one's own small vital plot of land "his home".
