Fingerprints in the Dirt

Fingerprints in the Dirt is about observations on nature, national parks, national lands, and the changing landscape over the course of a one-month road trip.
The trip took place in June of 2017, which is when all of the images were taken.

Interior pockets in the covers hold "impressions", poems by me, and the Colophon, which includes a directory for where the photos were taken

Printed on Accent digital 100# text, smooth.
Cover on 120# Accent Cover, uncoated, backed with chip board.
Hand cut and scored.

Unique binding: 3 hole pamphlet stitch with a variation on accordion. Waxed hemp thread and natural cotton ribbon.

The binding is somewhat fragile and must be handled with care, much like the environment around us.
