We Watched The Earth Turn

This work came to be during time spent at what we called "The Shack”, one of the last remaining fisherman's shacks on the coast south of Sydney Australia.
This is a place my partner and friend Jason Rogers lived.
Whilst I live on the opposite side of the world, we shared much time here, making work and being together, each time I returned our lives and the world had shifted dramatically.
In the evenings I would go outside to use the outhouse, look to the sky and observe the stars had shifted and it felt like I had witnessed the earth turn.
