“O Desengano” is a first reference in a Alauda Negra's new collection with a format strictly linked to the photobook. In this publication by Julián Barón (Castelló, 1978) recovered a photographic series taken on the coast of Galicia during the Prestige oil tanker disaster in 2002, twenty years ago. These images invokes the forces and conditions in which Julián Barón's photographic discourse has been developing and that take his own language to an unprecedented space of formalization, beyond memory, as a particular historical subject; and of nature itself, as a set of beliefs and conventions in which to interpret the real.
