All the books are customised and their covers are hand-painted, so they will all be different in some way. They are all numbered and stamped with the logo that was made on the occasion of their publication.

I grew up listening to a lot of punk bands that I saw in squats and concert halls, moving in this kind of environment for a long time. It was a subject I knew very well, so I resorted to one of the first lessons you learn in photography: do what's closest to you.
Punk is a countercultural movement born out of one's own intention to break away from the establishment, to do what you want, to not respond to rules and systems. Starting from this premise and thinking about the concept of "Do it yourself", the idea of making this book arises, without giving explanations, being able to create a totally independent and self-managed editorial work. In this book we intend to show images beyond gigs and concert halls, portraying punk in all its facets, you will be able to see their daily life as it had not been documented in images until now, their families, jobs, meetings, weddings, the inside of their houses. Ansia documents the essence of the punk movement by bringing you closer to people who do not share the norms of this system.
