Because we are ruins and we inhabit ruins
Self-published photographic book.

Dona Primavera Award. Mas Guinardo. Barcelona. 2021.
Photographs taken in family homes and abandoned spaces from 2009-2020.
The ruins are us, they are pieces of the body, folds, limbs, that build our identity. The passage of time leaves traces and we can tell our story from the spaces.
The book is a visual journey where the images dialogue with each other forming a story without texts.
As additional material there is an essay of poetic prose by the poet Jesús Aguado and fragments of my diary.
Work inspired by the city of Zenobia chapter of "The invisible cities" by Italo Calvino.
