Sun and shade, car and blanket, a snack on the side of the road in a landscape just like any other. Silhouettes against the background, now people, now absences, always nothing. A wedding dress, a long military service, a stereo dream, rock, mountain and grove.
A face on a face, as God created it. Several brothers, shrimps, cut women, missing fragments, playing cards in a dumpster and a child who is born without a promise and grows healthy, strong, becoming someone else. That's how we were. Small game, coastal fishing. What did we have twenty years for?
