Three sad translations

Artificial intelligence is all the time translating the diverse languages of the world into machine-readable data. In these conversions there is an exercise of power and a worldview based on reductions that eliminate context and nuance. Bodies and faces become data, collective practices are translated into a system of individual authorship, and human and non-human material labor is shown to be intangible or non-existent.

Cycle of conferences on AI organized by Fiebre y Ensambles under the curatorship of Gonzalo Golpe.
