The eleventh edition of Fiebre Photobook Fest, which will take place from June 21 to 23 at La Casa Encendida, hosts the ERROR 503 initiative.
This is a solidarity action aimed at supporting the legal assistance of students affected by the closure of EFTI, International Center of Photography and Film who have lost significant sums of money invested in their studies and must now face the costs of their legal defense. Alumni, students and teachers who have been part of this creative community for years will sell original prints of their photographs to raise money for this cause. Error 503 is the text that appears as of Friday, May 31 on what used to be the school’s website.
All prints will be printed at 13×18 and will be sleeved in protective plastic. The name of the photographer will be hidden, so that until after the purchase it will not be possible to know the authorship of the work that has been acquired.
The price of each photograph will be 20€ and all proceeds will be used to cover the legal costs of the lawsuits.
