Archivo Nómada Vol. 2

We are publishing the previously unknown photographic archive of National Photography Prize winner Alberto García-Alix. This new 736-page volume covers the period from 1982 to 1986, featuring nearly 2,500 photographs.

The author shows his life, his surroundings, and his daily routine at a historic moment for Spain, marked by great political, social, and cultural upheaval, as it was the end of the Transition and the Movida. This period also corresponds to the beginning of his professionalization as a photographer, a stage in which he began to use medium format, one of the most characteristic features of his work.
