Herbarium

This seminal work challenges the credibility of scientific photography through a fictional herbarium of pseudo-plants constructed from industrial detritus and organic fragments. It presents these creations with an aesthetic that pays homage to photographer Karl Blossfeldt, using neutral backgrounds and Latin classifications to mimic the rigor of a real botanical catalog. Through this visual game, it questions the authority of academic institutions and invites the reader to reflect on the fine line between reality and fiction in the age of the image.
