The Quart Towers are one of Valencia's landmarks and a major tourist attraction. Built in the 15th century, they form one of the entrances to the city's old town. As in most urban areas, Valencia expanded from its center, and this symbol became embedded in the middle of the city, blending in with subsequent urban changes and complicating its complete view.
Based on this peculiarity, the work explores the superimposition of visual information, the failure to represent the towers in their entirety, and the impossibility of the landscape.
The book also has several characteristics: on the one hand, it is a generously sized publication, in keeping with the monumentality of the towers. On the other hand, some pages are inserted, making it difficult to see several images in their entirety, which is achieved by turning the page.
