In 1922, amid a world ravaged by the First World War, T. S. Eliot published The Waste Land, a seminal poem that broke with poetic tradition. It was the angry cry of a generation facing the consequences of catastrophe. A hundred years later, Fernando Puche takes the pulse of today's society, searching in the echoes of his own territory for a world that bears some resemblance to that one. A reflective book with a format and layout inherited from Eliot's original edition, it questions and questions itself, intertwining the literary, the photographic, the emotional and the theoretical. Photography, landscape, author and reader are actors here, aligned in a dialectical problem that Fernando puts on the table.
