'Mirsad Ismet Izet' is a portrait of a family torn apart by the war in Bosnia. A story about death, grief and longing. Everyone deals with it in different ways. Three brothers. One died in the war. One of them lives in the Netherlands and comes to terms with the grief of his suddenly deceased son. And one returned to Bosnia and has a quiet and peaceful life with his wife. The brothers live separately in two worlds: Mirsad in the Netherlands and Izet in Bosnia. All events have made them grow apart rather than come closer together.
