Magdalena Llatse Sastre is a selection of photographs that Roger Guaus's grandfather Manolo Guaus (1910-2006) took to her grandmother Magdalena Llatse Sastre (1913-2009) during the 40s and 50s. At that time, Manolo Guaus shot photos tirelessly to her, without stopping, one after the other. I don’t know how far she liked it. Whatever the case, this work is the testimony of a way of photographing, a way of relating and, perhaps also, a way of flaunting. Magdalena Llatse Sastre is also a tribute to her grandmother, a woman with a life determined by goodness and resignation.

Magdalena Llatse Sastre és una selecció de fotografies que l'avi de Roger Guaus, Manolo Guaus (1910-2006) va fer a la seva àvia Magdalena Llatse Sastre (1913-2009) durant les dècades dels anys quaranta i cinquanta. En aquell temps, Manolo Guaus li feia fotos de manera incansable, sense parar, una rere l’altra. No sé fins a quin punt a ella li agradava.
