SONIDOS

The photographs in this book are part of an extensive research and publication series revolving around the culture of Cumbia music and its specific forms of representation. The images were taken in the course of my researches in Mexico since 2010. This volume looks specifically at the architecture of Cumbia’s mobile sound systems, the so called Sonidos, and shows their versatile configurations.
