Laura C. Vela examines her relationship with her father by reviewing the family photo album and initiating a rite of passage from adolescence to maturity. This book, the photographer’s first project, explores the concept of the photo journal and family memories and pays tribute to roads as symbols of the paths we take in life.

It is therefore a thoughtful reflection on identity, expressed with a highly personal and contemporary photographic aesthetic. This volume revisits Laura’s debut photographic project.
