Once again, La Casa Encendida will become the meeting point for learning and exchange within the photobook community.
The 13th edition of Fiebre Photobook Fest champions a way of approaching the photobook that’s more open to emotion, intuition and sensation. An invitation to let yourself be carried away by what happens between the image, the paper and the object, with a focus on the vitality and diversity of independent Mexican publishing.
The fair, the festival’s central pillar, will bring together more than 130 proposals from artists, collectives, publishers, bookshops and distributors coming from Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Italy, Portugal, France, Austria, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany and Sweden. With more participants than ever, it will be a space to discover new publications, build networks, bridge the gap with audiences and strengthen ties with the international scene.
Alongside the fair, a full programme of activities, workshops and exhibitions rounds out an edition designed to discover, enjoy and, above all, connect — both those just starting to explore the medium and those who have made it their profession and way of life.

What is Fiebre Photobook?
Fiebre Photobook is an independent platform that has been building the photobook community in Spain since 2013, with an international reach. It is structured around three main pillars: the annual festival, the Dummy Award, and the digital library, which features original educational content.
¿A quién está dirigido Fiebre Photobook Fest?
Es un espacio abierto a cualquier persona con curiosidad por descubrir lo que sucede dentro. No importa tu edad, si es tu primera vez visitando una feria de fotografía o si llevas años siguiendo el trabajo de los autores y editoriales. Fiebre Photobook es un espacio pensado para que cualquier visitante pueda disfrutar, aprender y dejarse sorprender.
El año pasado recibimos a más de 12.000 personas con perfiles muy diversos: amantes de la fotografía, coleccionistas, profesionales del sector, estudiantes, familias, curiosos y visitantes que simplemente decidieron acercarse a descubrir nuevas propuestas. Te recibimos con los brazos abiertos.
¿Qué se puede hacer en la XIII de Fiebre Photobook Fest?
La feria de fotolibros es el eje central donde puedes recorrer los stands, conocer los 127 proyectos editoriales, descubrir publicaciones independientes y hablar directamente con autores, editoriales y artistas.
Además de la feria, la programación se completa con:
- Actividades paralelas pensadas para acercar el fotolibro a todos los públicos.
- Exposiciones que muestran maneras de mirar proyectos editoriales de otra forma.
- Talleres, con propuestas para todas las edades y niveles.
Creemos que la fotografía es una forma de expresión capaz de conectar con cualquier persona, independientemente de su experiencia o conocimientos. Por eso, te invitamos a venir, explorar con calma y disfrutar de una experiencia en la que siempre hay algo nuevo por descubrir.
¿Cómo puedo conseguir entradas?
La entrada a Fiebre es libre y gratuita. Solo tienes que acercarte a La Casa Encendida del 18 al 20 de septiembre durante los horarios de apertura. El acceso será libre hasta completar el aforo.
Para los talleres y algunas actividades que requieren inscripción previa, sí será necesario reservar plaza con antelación. Las reservas se abrirán cuando publiquemos la programación completa, por lo que te recomendamos seguirnos en nuestra cuenta de Instagram y en la web iremos compartiendo toda la información.
¿Cómo puedo llegar a Fiebre Photobook Fest?
Fiebre Photobook Fest tendrá lugar del 18 al 20 de septiembre en La Casa Encendida, Ronda de Valencia, 2, 28012 Madrid.
Puedes llegar en transporte público:
- Metro: línea 3 (Lavapiés y Embajadores) y línea 1 (Estación del Arte)
- Cercanías: estaciones de Atocha y Embajadores

Purpose of the call
The purpose of this call for entries is to select the publishers, authors, collectives, and professionals who will participate in the specialized photobook fair at the 13th edition of Fiebre Photobook Fest, to be held at La Casa Encendida (Madrid) from September 18 to 20, 2026.
Who can participate?
- Independent publishers specializing in photobooks.
- Authors who use the photobook as a medium for artistic or documentary creation.
- Collectives, distributors, and alternative publishing projects related to photobooks.
- Bookstores, magazines, and specialty shops.
- Self-publishers who wish to showcase and sell their work.
Participation modalities
- Full table (200×80 cm) — €190
- Half table (100×80 cm) — €95
- Shared table — €15 per publication (shared space for self-publishers, maximum 10 copies per title)
Selection criteria
The selection committee, composed of the Fiebre Photobook Fest and La Casa Encendida teams, will evaluate:
- The quality, originality, and editorial coherence of the publications.
- The conceptual or artistic vision underlying the project.
- The relevance of the editorial approach within the current context of the photobook.
- The diversity and representativeness of the projects: formats, approaches, and geographic origins.
In your application, tell us clearly who you are, what you’re bringing, and why you want to be part of Fiebre. If you plan to present new releases, collaborations, or special projects, please mention them—it helps us greatly in evaluating your proposal.
Submission deadline
The application period will run from March 31 to May 3, 2026, until 11:59 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time). Late applications will not be accepted.
How to participate
Applications must be submitted via the online form at www.fiebrephotobook.com. Each application must include:
- Official name of the exhibitor.
- Contact information: first name, last name, email, phone number, city, and country.
- Type of table selected.
- Brief description of the publishing line (max. 150 characters) and approximate number of publications.
- Website and Instagram profile, if available.
Participation conditions
- The organizers will provide exhibition space to each selected participant.
- Participants are responsible for the logistics and transportation of their publications.
- Those selected for individual tables agree to be present throughout the fair (September 18–20).
- Those selected for the shared table do not need to be physically present; the organization will handle the exhibition and sales.
- The organization may use images and descriptions of the selected projects for festival communications.
- After notification of selection, participants will be informed of the available payment methods and deadlines.
Resolution
The list of selected participants will be published on the Fiebre Photobook Fest website and notified via email by May 13, 2026. This date has been set to give those traveling from out of town enough time to arrange their travel and accommodations.
