Eneka Fernández

Pioneering format halfway between book, music and performance. It’s like a DJ session, but with photography books, teaching and mixing books to create a ‘story’, inviting the audience to feel and enjoy them. This classic Fiebre, was created by our colleague Bonifacio Barrio Hijosa in 2012.

“When I had to think about a selection of books for the bookjockey, I wanted to focus on a theme present in both my collection of publications and in my personal work: the family album. Perhaps because I am part of a large family (I am the sixth of seven), it is a subject that attracts and appeals to me. I’m interested in discovering photographs of other families, the work around the album, the recovery and manipulation of the archive… Here’s a selection of glimpses into the album.”
