Aura

The photographs that make up the project were taken between 2009 and 2018 in India, a place where the strange and the paradoxical have an extraordinary presence. After a long process of experimentation during these years and numerous transformations, the work was initially published in book form in 2018. In Aura, literal references are dissolved, inviting the observer to construct a new syntax. To achieve this, the work plays with the limits of perception and meaning, seeking a hypnotic effect and a precise degree of ambiguity that favours mutations of meaning, a kind of alchemical transformation.
