Red October Student House
Eunice Adorno’s Casa Estudiantil Octubre Rojo is a memoir and testimony of a marginalized and ignored social group tucked away in a corner of Mazatlán, but it is also the seed of a visual narrative that transcends the witness’s perspective to move us deeply.
Dislocated landscapes, students portrayed in their complex everyday surroundings, and revelations voiced by the residents of the student dormitory are elements that embroider the face of multiculturalism within a confined space.
