The herons’ workshop
Creating a short publication for children
This workshop invites participants to create a small publication using discarded photographs from Jordi Oms’s book El taller de las garzas, exploring the possibilities of transformation and reuse.
Using the accordion format as our starting point, we’ll work together to construct a story using the “exquisite corpse” technique. Each participant will add images, clippings, and words without knowing what’s on the previous pages, letting chance and unexpected associations guide the development of the narrative.
The result will be a publication full of unlikely characters and absurd situations. An opportunity to explore the language of the photobook through play and experimentation.
